How to Become a FedEx & Kinko’s Vendor

The goods and services that FedEx Office out-sources vary from advertising to computer accessories, boxes and general maintenance to insurance, paper and etc.  FedEx Office looks for quality products and services that are delivered on time and that are compatibly priced. Becoming a vendor for FedEx Kinko’s and to be considered for a bidding opportunity with any FedEx company you must apply with the FedEx supplier registration.  FedEx Kinko’s provides its customers with a broad range of business services, transportation, and e-commerce.

Prepare to apply with FedEx by making sure that you understand what they will need from you.  Ask yourself what are FedEx Office needs and do you have a product or service that will support that need? Research what your product or service will do for FedEx Office and explain fully before contacting if you have the resources to supply those needs in sufficient quantities. Ask yourself if you can meet FedEx Office’s goals and what strategy will you use to reduce total cost.

Submit an online form to the supplier registration website (fedex.com). (See Resources) Click on the “Supplier Registration” link.

Complete the online supplier registration form. Write information about your business. Include your “Doing Business As” (DBA) and Federal Tax ID Number (EIN) if you have employees if not select the SSN option. Include all your contact information. Write about your company in the business biography section. Provide specific information about your product or service and provide your business specialty and references. Complete the form thoroughly. 

Submit the registration form. Confirmation will be sent to you by your email address. Sent in the email, will be your User ID and Password. Select the “Supplier Log” link on the left hand side of the page. Log in with your User ID and Password that was sent to you by email now you are able to update your registration, certification, and add additional contacts or change your password in the “Supplier Menu.”

FedEx will review your registration form. After your company information is registered on the site all FedEx employees who are looking for a supplier that provides a certain product or service are required to use the system to identify potential suppliers. Expect to be contacted from FedEx if your business meets a need for that particular product or service.
